ShipTimer Shopify App Support

This page offers installation and usage instructions, FAQ's, and support information for ShipTimer.


You can always ask us to install ShipTimer for you. There is no charge for installation. When you install the app, you'll receive an email from us asking if you need help. Reply to it and we'll assist.

If you'd like to install it yourself, read on.

When you add While Supplies Last to your store, it creates one file:

  1. /snippets/ship-timer.liquid

It will ask if you'd like to attempt automatic installation. If you agree, ShipTimer will search through a few files and look for a product form. It will then add {% render 'ship-timer' %} directly before the form.

Adding ShipTimer to your theme

  1. Install ShipTimer from the app store.
  2. Copy {% render 'ship-timer' %} wherever you'd like the the widget to appear on the product page. We recommend playing it just above your Add to Cart button. You will likely find this in one of three places:
    • /templates/product.liquid
    • /sections/product.liquid
    • /snippets/product-form.liquid


Access ShipTimer from within your store's apps menu.

Within the ShipTimer app, you may edit the widget's appearance, set cut-off times, etc.


Does this app change how orders, charges, or customers work?

No, it does not alter how orders, customers, or charges are handled. It only alters the product page. It's meant to add urgency to maximize revenue.

I don't see ShipTimer on my product page.

ShipTimer will not display on products with negative or zero quantity. We don't show any message at all since the product is not currently available.

I don't see ShipTimer on my home page featured products.

Depending on your theme is written, ShipTimer's automatic install may not display on your homepage. Copy & paste {% include 'shiptimer' %} wherever you'd like the the widget to appear in your theme's code.

Can I hide the seconds display on ShipTimer?

That is not a feature or customization we support at this time, but we're considering it.

Can I customize ShipTimer's appearance?

ShipTimer has very little styling of its own, and instead relies on whatever styles are in your theme to ensure that it matches your site. Any front-end developer can customize the ShipTimer widget's appearance for you.
